It is obtained from the dried fruits of Momordica charantia. The fruits of Momordica charantia or Karela are widely known for their anti-diabetic activity. Reports indicate that M charantia can stimulate insulin secretion by regeneration of β cells and induce glucose uptake in liver.
Silbinol®: 
Pterocarpus marsupium commonly known as Vijaysar, is traditionally used in the management of diabetes and hyperlipidemia. Silbinol contains pterocarposide, which induces the release of insulin from the existing β-cells of the pancreas.
Cinnamon extract: 
From the bark of Cinnamomum zeylanicum, it has a long history of use as a spice and flavouring agent. Studies indicate that cinnamon may mimic insulin effects and thus may improve glucose utilization.
Salacia reticulata: 
Salacia reticulata has been used as an oral antidiabetic agent by Ayurvedic practitioners. Based on extensive use of S. reticulata in Ayurveda, the roots, (commonly described as acrid and bitter) and the stems contain potent antidiabetic chemical constituents.
